Today’s recommendation is a webinar held by the Institute for Climate and Society (iCS), which discussed the role of the Tropical Forests Forever Facility (TFFF) in empowering and strengthening Indigenous peoples and local communities. This initiative, led by Brazil and partners from the Global South, proposes an innovative climate finance model that rewards countries that keep their forests standing.

The TFFF was launched by the Brazilian government during COP30 in Belém. It is expected to mobilize up to US$125 billion and will allocate at least 20% of these resources directly to communities that live in and protect tropical forests.
