The second phase of the Synergy Program has now selected 40 businesses for the next evaluation stage: a pitch that will choose 20 companies to receive support and monitoring in a cycle beginning on August 1. All the companies were analyzed by a panel of evaluators, who considered their potential impact on the Amazon bioeconomy, innovative features of their solutions and products, market factors and team aspects.  

The 2023 call for proposals, which ended on May 15, received 127 entries with different profiles, representing a wide range of sectors in the Amazon, including graphic design, logistics, food and beverages, herbal medicines, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, fashion and education. The quality and diversity of the applicant businesses demonstrated the growing level of maturity of the region’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. 

The Synergy Program is part of the Amazon Journey Platform, a project coordinated and executed by the CERTI Foundation and the CERTI Amazon Institute, and supported by co-participation and investments from Bradesco, Fundo Vale, Itaú Unibanco and Santander.
