Event to take place on November 16 at the Amazon Bioeconomy Park, connecting producers, companies, investors, researchers and organizations to strengthen agroforestry solutions

How can we increase food production, generate income for producers and strengthen the resilience of agricultural systems? These questions will be at the heart of the Agroforestry Solutions Forum: Amazon Edition, to take place on November 16, 2026, at the Amazon Bioeconomy and Innovation Park in Belém, Pará. Organized by the Center for Ecological Innovation in Agroforestry (CEIA) in partnership with the Earthworm Foundation, the event is sponsored by Fundo Vale.

Focusing on solutions that are already being developed and implemented, the forum aims to connect those offering knowledge, technologies and initiatives with those who can implement or support them. The goal is to turn accumulated field experience into opportunities for investment, innovation and regional development while promoting productivity, income generation and biome conservation.

Juliana Vilhena, Fundo Vale’s strategy, management and impact manager, will participate in the panel “Rethinking Food Systems Through Existing Agroforestry Solutions,” alongside Tiago Goulart and Patrícia Costa Lucatelli of Earthworm Foundation Brasil, Edivan Carvalho, of IPAM, and Jonas Steinfeld of CEIA.

“The in-person program will run for one day and is expected to bring together around 200 participants from different fields. The event will feature an arena for strategic panels and real-world case studies, a small auditorium for technical sessions and applied discussions, a fair showcasing sociobiodiversity products, initiatives and solutions, and spaces for networking, matchmaking and partnership building”, Juliana Vilhena
